Love working alongside such great folks!

There’s not a lot I can add to all the raves already here, but I will say that everything folks have said about Mike holds true for Scott:

he was early and had already inspected the roof by the time I arrived 5min before the scheduled appointment ; he was masked for health & cleanliness reasons ; he explained guidelines and expectations thoroughly and right off the bat ; he communicated issues step-by-step as he found them AND gave a thorough recap at the end.

Additionally — he recognized me as a first-time home buyer right away and his demeanor and explanations really helped put me at ease after I admitted I was 60% excited & 40% terrified. He addressed my particular problem-areas right away before anything else. He listened to my concerns as we went through systematically and didn’t shy away from giving me realistic expectations of what would need to be done to make a home from 1889 safe to live in today.

If the home-buying books you’re reading tell you (like mine) to be wary of any inspection service recommended by your realtor, please rest assured that my Midwestern sensibilities were appeased by the thoroughness and frankness of the report I received from HHIS.
